Customizing your Delivery Notifications

Introduction



Ship24’s Delivery Notifications feature allows you to send beautiful, branded shipment updates directly to your customers’ inboxes — keeping them informed, reassured, and engaged throughout the delivery process.

In this guide, we’ll show you how to customize the design, content and behavior of your Delivery Notifications in just a few clicks.

Settings



Navigate to the Settings tab to start configuring your notifications.



Email sending settings


Sender Email Name: This is the name your customers will see in their inbox. You can personalize it to match your brand (e.g. “My Brand”).
Test Email Address: Use this field to enter your own email address. This allows you to preview how the notification will look by sending yourself a test.

Typography Customization


The typography section allows you to select the font used throughout your tracking page.

Primary Font: Choose a font style from the dropdown menu to apply to your page.

Preview Text: A sample sentence, “The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog”*, is displayed to preview the selected font in real time.
Tip: Select a font that complements your brand and ensures readability for your users.

Color Customization


You can modify the colors used in your Delivery Notifications to match your brand’s theme.

Primary Color: Sets the color for the Text and Track button background
Secondary Color: Sets the color for the Background and Track button text

To update a color:

Click the pencil icon next to the color field.
Choose a new color from the color picker or enter a hex code for precise branding.
Click Save to apply changes.

Tip: Use contrasting colors to ensure readability. For example, a dark primary color works well with a light secondary color.

Ship24 Branding


If you want to redirect users to your Branded Tracking Page from the email (when clicking on the "Track" button), enable this setting.

Tip: If this is disabled, users will be redirected to Ship24 instead, with tracking results for this tracking number.

Final Checklist Before Saving


Sender name and test email are correct.
The selected font is readable and aligns with your brand.
Primary and secondary colors contrast well for visibility.
Ship24 branding feature is enabled or disabled as needed.

Saving Your Changes


Click Save to apply the changes to your Delivery Notifications.


Email Layout



Navigate to the Email Layout tab.

The Email Layout tab allows you to promote your brand, products, special offers, or relevant content directly in the Delivery Notifications. This section lets you add marketing blocks and banner image to engage customers and drive conversions.


Brand


You can display a banner to represent your brand on top of the email.

Store Link: Add a your brand URL for redirection.
Banner Image: Upload a 620x180 px PNG or JPG (max size 1MB).

Marketing & Upselling Blocks


This section lets you create up to 2 marketing blocks, each with a title, link, and image. These blocks appear at the top of the tracking page.

For each block:

Title: Enter a short, engaging title.
Link: Add a URL where users will be redirected when clicking the block.
Image: Upload a 250×350 px PNG or JPG file (max size 1MB).

Tip: Use these blocks to highlight promotions, featured products, FAQs, or special announcements.

Final Checklist Before Saving


Titles and links are correct.
Uploaded images match the required dimensions.

Saving Your Changes


Click Save to apply the changes to your Delivery Notifications.


Email Content



Navigate to the Email Content tab

The Email Content tab allows you to fine-tune the messages your customers receive depending on the tracking status update. You can display your brand, products, special offers, or any relevant content directly in the Delivery Notifications.


For each shipment status — Info Received, In Transit, Out for Delivery, Failed Attempt, To Pick Up, Exception and Delivered — you can:

Enable or disable the notification
You can decide which steps of the delivery are the most important for your customers.

Edit the content for:
The subject
The header
The body

Include Tags that will automatically fill with the data (if available)
Make sure the data is available for the Tags you are using.
Arrange your sentence to work in case the data is not available.

Tip: Don’t forget to click “Send Test Email” to preview how your custom message looks in a real inbox!

Final Checklist Before Saving


Notifications are enabled only for the shipment statuses you want to send (e.g. Out for Delivery, In Transit, etc.).
The subject, header and body are filled with the text you want.
Tags are correctly used.
Test email match your expectations.

Saving Your Changes


Click Save to apply the changes to your Delivery Notifications.
