Adding your shipments to the Ship24 Shipment Dashboard is easy and flexible, whether you are tracking one package or uploading thousands.

This article walks you through the three ways you can add shipments:

* [Add a single shipment](#3-add-a-single-shipment)
* [Add multiple shipments (bulk paste)](#3-add-multiple-shipments-bulk-paste)
* [Import shipments via CSV file](#3-import-shipments-via-csv-file)

### Add a single shipment

This method is perfect for manually tracking a single parcel.

###### Steps

1. Select the **“Add one shipment”** tab.
2. Fill in the following:

* Tracking Number (required)
* Origin Country and Destination Country (optional, but recommended to improve results)
* Courier (optional, add it manually if you know it or let Ship24 auto-detect it)
* Recipient Post Code (optional, required by some couriers)

3. Click **“Show Options”** to reveal additional fields:

* **Title**
* **Order Number**
* **Recipient Name**
* **Recipient Phone number**
* **Recipient Email**

###### Steps

###### Preparing your file

Your CSV needs a header row using the exact column names below. Only `tracking_number` is required, so the simplest working file is a single column with one tracking number per row.

| Column | What it holds |
| --- | --- |
| `tracking_number` | The courier tracking number. Required. |
| `order_number` | Your own order reference. |
| `title` | A label to help you recognise the shipment. |
| `courier_code_1` | The courier, if you know it. |
| `courier_code_2` | A second courier, for shipments handed between carriers. |
| `courier_code_3` | A third courier. |
| `origin_country` | Where the shipment started. |
| `destination_country` | Where it is going. |
| `recipient_post_code` | Destination post code. Required by some couriers. |
| `recipient_full_name` | Recipient name. |
| `recipient_email` | Recipient email. |
| `recipient_phone` | Recipient phone number. |
| `note` | Any additional note. |

| Tip: Keep only the columns you need and remove the rest. What matters is that the column names you do include match exactly.

|| Courier codes come from the [Ship24 courier list](https://docs.ship24.com/couriers). Leave them out if you are not sure, and Ship24 will detect the courier from the tracking number.

||| Filling in the optional columns is worth the effort. Destination country, post code and courier all help Ship24 return the right events and discard events belonging to a different parcel. See [how to create a good shipment tracker](https://help.ship24.com/en/article/how-to-create-a-good-shipment-tracker-fa7b2q/).

|| Duplicate or already-imported tracking numbers will be ignored.
