How to Add Shipments to Your Shipment Dashboard
Introduction
Adding your shipments to the Ship24 Shipment Dashboard is easy and flexible, whether you are tracking one package or uploading thousands.
This article walks you through the three ways you can add shipments:
Whatever method you choose, always start by:
- Go to your Shipment Dashboard.
- Click the “Add shipment” button (top-right).

Add a single shipment
This method is perfect for manually tracking a single parcel.
Steps
- Select the “Add one shipment” tab.
- Fill in the following:
- Tracking Number (required)
- Origin Country and Destination Country (optional, but recommended to improve results)
- Courier (optional, add it manually if you know it or let Ship24 auto-detect it)
- Recipient Post Code (optional, required by some couriers)
- Click “Show Options” to reveal additional fields:
- Title
- Order Number
- Recipient Name
- Recipient Phone number
- Recipient Email
- Click “Add shipment” to confirm.

Add multiple shipments (bulk paste)
For adding several shipments at once.
Steps
- Select the “Add multiple shipments” tab.
- Choose to auto-detect the courier, or select one manually.
- Paste up to 5,000 tracking numbers (one per line) into the text box.
- Click “Add shipment” to confirm.

Import shipments via CSV file
For users managing shipment data in a spreadsheet.
Steps
- Select the “CSV Import” tab.
- Drag and drop your CSV file, or click “Browse Files” to upload it (maximum 100,000 lines).
- Click “Add shipment” to begin the upload.

Preparing your file
Your CSV needs a header row using the exact column names below. Only tracking_number is required, so the simplest working file is a single column with one tracking number per row.
Column | What it holds |
|---|---|
The courier tracking number. Required.
Your own order reference.
A label to help you recognise the shipment.
The courier, if you know it.
A second courier, for shipments handed between carriers.
A third courier.
Where the shipment started.
Where it is going.
Destination post code. Required by some couriers.
Recipient name.
Recipient email.
Recipient phone number.
Any additional note.
Next steps
Once your shipments are in the dashboard, you can search and filter them or export the data.
