A

  • API Tracking – A tracking method that allows users to integrate Ship24’s tracking directly into their system via API.
  • API Key – A unique identifier used to authenticate and authorize access to Ship24’s API services.


B

  • Branded Tracking Page (BTP) – A customizable tracking page that users can personalize with their brand identity to enhance the customer experience.


C

  • Courier – A logistics provider responsible for transporting and delivering shipments, such as DHL, FedEx, or UPS.


D

  • Dashboard – The main interface where users can manage their account and access Ship24’s features.
  • Delivery Notifications – Automated alerts sent to users or customers to update them on the status of their shipments.


I

  • **IOSS (Import One-Stop Shop) – **A European Union system that simplifies VAT collection for businesses selling goods to EU customers

  • Shipment – A package being transported from one location to another, typically assigned a tracking number for monitoring.
  • Shipment Dashboard – A centralized tool within Ship24 that allows users to track, manage, and analyze shipments in real-time.
  • Status / Shipment Status – The current stage of a shipment in its delivery journey, such as "In Transit" or "Delivered".

  • Tracking API – A tracking method that allows users to integrate Ship24’s tracking directly into their system via API.
  • Tracking Number – An identifier assigned to a shipment by the courier, allowing users to track its journey through Ship24’s tracking system.
  • Transit Time – The time it takes for a shipment to be delivered, starting from when the courier first handles it until it reaches its final destination.


W

  • Webhook – A tool that automatically sends tracking updates to your system or website whenever there is a new event or update for a shipment.
  • Webhook Secret – A security code that helps confirm that tracking updates sent to your system are really from Ship24.
  • Webhook URL – The link (web address) where Ship24 sends automatic tracking updates to your system.
