Ship24 Pricing and Plans Explained

Introduction

Ship24 sells tracking as three separate products, each priced differently. This article explains what they are, what the tiers within them include, the full price ladders, and the paid options you can add on top.

To compare and subscribe, see the pricing page.

The three tracking products

All-in-one Tracking Solution

The no-code product. You get the Shipment Dashboard to add and monitor shipments, a Branded Tracking Page for your customers, and Delivery Notifications by email. The Pro tier also includes Tracking API and Webhook access.

Usage is counted in shipments.

Tracking API and Webhook, priced per shipment

You create a tracker for each shipment through the API and Ship24 follows it until delivery. Updates reach you by webhook, pushed as they happen, or by fetching results when you want them.

One tracker equals one shipment from your quota, however long the parcel takes and however many events it generates.

This is the option we recommend for most integrations. It is faster, less dependent on courier systems being up at the moment you ask, and cheaper per shipment.

Tracking API, priced per call

A separate product with its own endpoint, where usage is counted per API call instead of per shipment. Each call fetches from the courier synchronously, so responses are slower and depend on the courier system responding at that moment.

It suits occasional one-off lookups. For following shipments over time, the per shipment product costs less and does more. See the per-call API documentation.

The Tracking API plans and the All-in-one Tracking Solution plans are separate products and cannot both be active on one account. Switching means cancelling the current plan first, which forfeits any remaining quota.

Which product to choose

  • You want a tracking page and customer emails without building anything: All-in-one Tracking Solution
  • You have developers and want tracking inside your own system: Tracking API and Webhook, per shipment
  • You need occasional lookups rather than ongoing follow-up: Tracking API, per call

Free includes full API and webhook access, automatic courier detection, basic auto-update, multi-tracking-number detection, interactive API docs, and a one month trial of the Shipment Dashboard.

Pro adds a faster AI-driven refresh rate, detailed status codes, and email support.

Enterprise adds an SLA, custom API rate limits, and custom integrations.

A higher tier lowers your overage rate as well as raising your quota. If you consistently run over, upgrading usually costs less than paying the overage.

On this product every call counts, including repeated checks on the same parcel. Checking one shipment daily for a week uses seven calls. On the per shipment product the same parcel uses one credit.

Paid add-ons

Add-ons attach to an existing plan and can only be subscribed on Tracking Solution Pro or Tracking API Pro. They are not available on Free, Essential, or Enterprise standard plans.

Add-on prices follow the shipment quota tier of your plan, so they adjust automatically when you change tier.

What each add-on does

Proof of Delivery retrieves the evidence a courier records at handover, such as a signature, a delivery photo, or a receipt. Coverage depends on the courier. See what Proof of Delivery is and how to get it and which couriers support it.

AI Computed Estimated Delivery Date unlocks an AI-calculated delivery estimate based on how the specific courier and lane actually perform, rather than the courier's own promise.

AI Analytics unlocks analytics on your tracking data, covering courier and lane performance.

Shipment Dashboard is available on Tracking API plans only, since the All-in-one Tracking Solution already includes it. It lets you see and manage API-tracked shipments visually instead of only through code, and is free for your first month.

Add-ons are billed on top of your base plan. A Tracking Solution Pro 1K plan with all three add-ons costs $59 plus $9 plus $9 plus $9, so $86 per month.

If you do not keep the Shipment Dashboard option after the trial month, your Tracking API keeps working exactly as before. You only lose the visual interface.

How shipments are counted

One tracker equals one shipment from your quota. Creating a tracker for a tracking number uses a single credit, however long the parcel takes and however many events it generates.

A small number of couriers consume more than one shipment credit per parcel. The pricing page notes which ones.

Going over your quota

On paid plans you may exceed your quota, and overage is billed per extra shipment or call on your next invoice, at the rate shown in the tables above.

You get an email as you approach and pass your limit, and the Shipment Dashboard shows a warning. Usage is visible in real time in your dashboard.

On Free plans there is no overage. Tracking stops until the quota resets or you upgrade.

Changing or cancelling your plan

Upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately with no interruption. Your old plan is cancelled automatically and any unused quota is converted to credit against the new plan.

Cancelling keeps your plan active until the end of the current billing period. You may still be billed for overage accrued during that period.

Payment is by major credit or debit card through Stripe. For other payment methods, contact our support team.
